This fragrant, beautiful quiche is made with market greens, colorful eggs, delicious grass fed cheeses, and a sprinkle of bee pollen. This is the perfect dish to make for your wife, mom, or loved one this Sunday.
1 store bought or home made pie crust shell
8 ounces of cheese*, grated
1 1/2 cups of milk or cream
3 cloves of garlic*, minced
2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 cup of greens, spinach, or micro-greens* coarsely chopped
1 onion*, diced
1 tablespoon of olive oil or butter*
1 tablespoon of bee pollen*
Pre-heat the oven to 350 degrees. In a pan sauté the onion and garlic in 1 tablespoon of olive oil/butter. Once the onions are translucent remove them from the heat and stir in the chopped greens. In a separate bowl whisk together the eggs, milk, cheese and other remaining ingredients. Add the greens mixture into the liquid mixture. In pie or quiche pan arrange your pie crust evenly and gently pour in the quiche mixture. Crimp or pinch edges of the crust with a fork or your fingers. Bake for 35-45 minutes or until golden brown.
