Our year-round weekly presence as a market goes beyond filling people up with delicious food. With your generosity, the Northside Farmers Market is able to support & incubate local food producers AND increase healthy food access for the community. Your donation will go directly towards the following expenses we incur month to month.​
  • Vendor Sponsorship & Mentoring - Part of our three-fold mission is to support our local food producers by providing a viable business venue. We offer free and discounted vendor slots to start up businesses and offer mentoring opportunities from established vendors.

  • SNAP & Credit Card Transactions - Each credit card and SNAP transaction is a cost to the market. We rely on donations to keep providing this service to our customers and to allow SNAP customers to benefit from the Produce Perks program, making fresh fruits and vegetables affordable for all.

  • Rent - Yes, we pay rent! Facility rental money helps cover our storage space used, necessary electrical access, and overall maintenance of our location.
 
  • Staffing - We strive to make sure we pay a living wage to our staff who make the market possible week in and week out, rain, snow or shine.
 
  • Advertising funds - Funds are needed to continuously grow the market, which gives more access to healthy local foods and allows our vendors to grow their customer base.
